Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information UX Horizon and its apps may handle, why it is used, and the choices available to you.

Last updated: September 3, 2026

1. Who we are

UX Horizon is an independent software brand based in India. It develops UX Player and other apps shown on this website. You can contact us at business.uxhorizon@gmail.com.

2. Scope of this policy

This policy applies to:

  • the UX Horizon website at uxhorizon.online;
  • UX Player; and
  • other UX Horizon apps when they are released, unless an app provides a more specific privacy notice.

UX File Manager, UX Locker, UX PDF Manager and UX Status Saver are currently presented as coming soon. Their exact permissions, services and privacy details will be confirmed before public release.

3. Information handled by this website

This is a static informational website. As of the date above, it does not offer user accounts or contact forms and does not use Meta Pixel or advertising cookies. UX Horizon does not receive personal information simply because you read a page on this website.

Like most hosting services, our hosting provider may automatically process limited technical information—such as an IP address, browser details, requested page and security logs—to deliver and protect the website. We do not use that information to build personal profiles.

If you email us, we receive the email address, message and any details you choose to include. We use them only to respond, keep necessary business records, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations.

4. How UX Player handles your media

UX Player is designed to work primarily on your device. Videos, photos, saved statuses, locker media, playback information and other local media are not uploaded to a UX Horizon server merely because you browse or play them.

  • Media library and playback: the app may scan media you allow it to access so it can organize and play files locally.
  • Status Saver: access is requested through Android’s folder picker. Supported image or video statuses are copied only when you choose a save action. The feature is not designed to access private messages or encrypted chat content.
  • Video Locker: protected media, PIN-related state and locker settings remain on your device. Biometric checks are handled by Android; UX Horizon does not receive raw fingerprint or face data.
  • Settings: preferences such as playback choices and app state may be stored locally on your device.

5. Analytics, advertising and diagnostics

UX Player may use Firebase services and Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Depending on your device, region and settings, these services may process technical or advertising information such as device and app details, advertising identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, ad interactions, diagnostics and limited usage events.

UX Horizon does not intentionally send filenames, file paths, media titles, local content, PINs, biometric data or private locker media in analytics events. Google processes information under its own privacy terms and user controls.

6. Permissions

An app may request Android permissions or system access only when a feature needs them—for example media access, a selected folder, notifications, biometrics or network access. Android settings let you review or withdraw many permissions. Disabling one may prevent the related feature from working.

7. Why information is used

Where applicable, information is used to:

  • provide features you request;
  • remember settings on your device;
  • maintain performance, reliability and security;
  • measure limited app interactions and fix problems;
  • show and measure advertising where enabled; and
  • respond to emails and comply with legal obligations.

8. Sharing and sale of information

UX Horizon does not sell your personal media. Information may be processed by service providers such as Firebase, Google Mobile Ads, Google Play and Firebase Hosting only for services they provide. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users and our services, or in connection with a legitimate business transfer. We do not give service providers permission to use your local media for their own unrelated purposes.

9. Retention and deletion

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, clear the app’s storage, remove saved copies, or uninstall the app. Some exported files may remain in the folder where you saved them and must be deleted separately. Email correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the conversation, business records, security or law.

See our Data Deletion Instructions for clear steps and request options.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No device, transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and keeping Android security features enabled.

11. Children

UX Horizon services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

12. International processing

Service providers may process technical information in countries other than your own. Where required, they and UX Horizon rely on appropriate legal protections for that processing.

13. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion or restriction of personal information. You can also manage app permissions, advertising controls and the Android advertising ID through your device settings. To make a request, email us. We may need limited information to verify and complete it.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when an app, website feature, service provider or legal requirement changes. The latest version will be posted here with a revised date. Material changes will be highlighted where reasonably possible.

15. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, email business.uxhorizon@gmail.com. Do not send private media, PINs, passwords or identity documents unless we specifically explain why they are necessary.
